Never wring, twist or boil your sea sponge.
Sea sponges comprise an interlinking system of pores, making them extremely easy to clean.
Once you’ve finished using it, rinse your sea sponge with clean water. Then simply place it in its organza pouch and hang it up to dry.
If you live in a hard-water area, you may need to soak your sponge in a mixture of white vinegar and cold water for a few hours. Doing this occasionally will help to prevent the build-up of limescale and will ensure your sponge lasts longer.
